Vågor

Welcome to Väsen’s 19th studio album, “Vågor”!
Vågor means waves in Swedish. Many of the tunes on this album have names connected to water. There are islands and a small bay, a watermill and someone going against the current. The waves are always there. This theme has sparked our imagination!
We have also worked on developing and deepening our rhythmic interplay between the nyckelharpa and the bass viola. Tunes like “Kungshatt,” “Motströms,” and “Årsta Holmar” clearly show the step towards something new.
Let curiosity live!
